Our meats are specially selected for you to make sure that you always have a tender steak, the leanest pork or the freshest chicken.  By the way, more on that chicken.  Most other grocery stores sell chicken that has already been frozen and is thawed out in the meat counter or in the cooler in the back room.  Not at Piggly Wiggly.  Our chicken comes in fresh not frozen and is packaged fresh for you.

And have you compared prices on meats.  Wow!  Those chains really try to get in your pocketbook there.  It's not unusual to find items 20, 50, 75 cents or even a dollar a pound higher in the other stores.
